What is my first step?

Your first step is to complete our online application.  We will then contact you to discuss your skills, work history, education, and work preferences, and schedule a face-to-face interview.  We will work with you to match your qualifications and needs with our available positions.

What is involved in the hiring process?

After filling out the online application, you can submit your resume.  You will be contacted for skill assessment and a face-to-face interview.

How often should I contact your office after my interview?

Call or email your local branch office on a weekly basis or sooner if your status changes.  You will be asked to leave your name, phone number, and the type of work you are interested in.  We realize that it is not always convenient for you to check in on a weekly basis.  You can email the office if that is more convenient.  You are encouraged to stay in touch with our office so we are aware of your availability.

If I am not interested in a position when it is offered, is it all right to turn it down?

Yes.  Not every job is going to meet the expectations you have.  If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline.  We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.

What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?

Please contact Olympic first.  We will remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

What do I pay for your services?

With Olympic Staffing Services, there is never a fee for applicants.

How do I stay informed about open positions?

You can stay connected with Olympic through our website, email, and phone. You can check our website on a daily basis for new job postings. You can call or email on a weekly basis to check in with your availability.

When do I turn in my time sheet?

Time sheets must be turned in by noon on Monday.  You have four convenient methods of delivering your time sheet to Olympic Staffing Services:

  • Fax to corporate efax number 909-354-3760
  • Scan and email to corpadmin@olystaffing.com
  • Mail to:  Olympic Staffing Services, 588 S. Grand Ave., Covina, CA  91724
  • Hand-deliver to your local Olympic Staffing Services office

Please help us to pay you promptly by getting your signed time sheet delivered to the Olympic Staffing Services office by noon on Monday.

When will I receive my first paycheck?

* Olympic’s work week is Monday through Sunday.  Paychecks are released on the Friday after the work week, if your time sheet is turned in by noon on Monday.
* Please let Olympic know a week in advance if you’d like your check mailed or if you’d like to pick up your check in the branch office.

What is the process for finding staffing employees through Olympic?

Our search and recruitment efforts begin as soon as you contact us.  Olympic will get a thorough job description from you.  The actual duties and responsibilities can sometimes be subject to interpretation, but we do not guess.  We analyze your job description and ask appropriate questions to provide you with the best possible fit.

How long will it take to provide a staffing employee for our company?

The time frame varies based on the type of position and qualifications you require, and on our employee availability.  We strive to provide you with a staffing solution within 24 hours.

Do you provide background checks?

Every applicant is reference-checked based on the work history provided.  We have some clients who request a drug screen, driving record, or criminal background check.  Olympic can provide these services as well as meet any other needs you might have for background or security checks.  These will be coordinated through our office for a fee.

What if I am not satisfied with an employee placed by Olympic?

While we strive to find the perfect fit, circumstances do arise.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with our employee, we will work with you to provide a solution.
